Shuttle Time Activator – Part Time/Casual

Shuttle Time is the entry level programme for badminton in New Zealand.

Badminton Canterbury are seeking dynamic, self-motivated people to deliver Shuttle Time to primary and secondary schools students.  Full training in Shuttle Time is provided, and there is excellent mentoring and coach resources available . Badminton experience is not essential, but the successful applicants will have a proven track record in coaching or delivery of other programs to young people. Your ability to engage with school aged pupils and give them a fun experience is essential.

We have a team of Shuttle Time coaches who work on an as needed basis—we make bookings for our coaches into school and community settings well in advance. This would suit people who are available school hours or after school times. Generally we try to book our coaches close to the area they are in but as there is gear to move around you will need your own reliable transport.
